Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Student Counseling and Guidance

  • Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to understand students' educational backgrounds, career interests, and personal aspirations.
  • Assist students in selecting appropriate academic courses, study programs, or vocational training opportunities.
  • Guide students on admission requirements, including standardized tests, language proficiency tests, and other prerequisites.
  • Provide career counseling and help students align their educational choices with their long-term career goals.
  • Advise students on selecting universities and colleges based on their interests, academic qualifications, and financial capabilities.

Country Expertise

  • Knowledge of other study destinations will be considered an added advantage.
  • Experience in documentation and visa lodgment processes will be an added advantage.

Study Abroad Counseling

  • Advise students interested in studying abroad on country-specific admission procedures, visa requirements, and scholarship opportunities.
  • Provide guidance on student life, cultural adaptation, accommodation options, and living arrangements abroad.
  • Assist students in preparing documentation for visa applications, including financial documents, recommendation letters, and Statements of Purpose (SOPs).
  • Guide students in preparing for standardized examinations such as IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, SAT, and other required tests.

Application Assistance

  • Assist students in completing university and college applications and ensure accurate and timely submission of all required documents.
  • Review and edit personal statements, essays, and application forms.
  • Track application deadlines and ensure students meet all critical dates and requirements.

Scholarship and Financial Aid Guidance

  • Advise students on available scholarships, financial aid programs, and funding opportunities for domestic and international studies.
  • Assist students in preparing scholarship applications and financial documents required for admissions and visa applications.

Collaboration with Educational Institutions

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, universities, and study-abroad partners.
  • Coordinate with university representatives to stay updated on admission policies, course offerings, and campus life.
  • Organize information sessions, university visits, seminars, and webinars to help students explore educational opportunities.

Visa and Immigration Counseling

  • Provide guidance on student visa processes for countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States, with a primary focus on Australia.
  • Assist students in preparing visa applications, including required documentation, financial evidence, and travel arrangements.
  • Stay updated on changes in immigration policies, visa regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Draft and review Statements of Purpose (SOPs) and other supporting documents.

Follow-Up and Student Support

  • Provide continuous support throughout the student journey, from initial consultation to enrollment and post-arrival assistance.
  • Address student concerns and challenges related to admissions, visa applications, and adaptation to a new academic environment.
  • Maintain regular communication with students and their families throughout the process.

Record Keeping and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student applications, academic information, and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor and report admission, scholarship, and visa success rates.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry into the CRM system.

Educational Workshops and Seminars

  • Conduct workshops, seminars, and webinars on topics such as university selection, test preparation, scholarship opportunities, and study-abroad pathways.
  • Provide students with resources and information to support informed decision-making.

Continuous Professional Development

  • Stay informed about trends and developments in the education sector, including admission requirements, immigration policies, and international education opportunities.
  • Participate in training programs, conferences, webinars, and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Follow up with leads and prospective students to achieve admission and enrollment targets.
  • Liaise with parents, guardians, and relatives regarding student applications and progress.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and related services.
  • Stay updated on university programs, admission requirements, and institutional policies.
  • Maintain knowledge of immigration rules and regulations for relevant study destinations.
  • Communicate regularly with students and parents through email, telephone, online meetings, and other communication channels.
  • Assist in developing content for brochures, prospectuses, social media platforms, and other marketing materials.
  • Prepare business proposals, official correspondence, reports, and related documents.
  • Conduct occasional field visits as required.
  • Proactively contribute to organizational growth and development.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Job Specification

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree (Completed) in any relevant discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in education counseling, study-abroad counseling, admissions, or a related field.
