Role Description The UK Sales & Counseling Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu. This role is responsible for counseling prospective students on UK study options, admission requirements, and suitable courses and institutions based on their academic background and career goals. The position involves managing the end-to-end counseling process, including initial inquiries, application support, documentation guidance, and coordination with partner universities. The officer will handle daily sales activities such as following up with leads, conducting consultations in person and by phone or online, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or other systems. The role also includes collaborating with internal teams and external partners, participating in promotional or outreach events, and ensuring a high standard of customer service and ethical counseling at all times.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer-facing capabilities, with demonstrated skills in Customer Service and Communication.
  • Proven experience in Sales Operations and Channel Sales, preferably within the education, consultancy, or service sector.
  • Ability to generate, qualify, and nurture prospects using Lead Generation techniques and follow-up processes.
  • Familiarity with international education systems, ideally UK higher education, and basic understanding of student visa and admission procedures.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Marketing, or a related field; relevant counseling or sales certifications are an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Capacity to work in a target-driven environment while maintaining integrity, cultural sensitivity, and a student-centered approach.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in UK counseling, admissions, or consultancy operations.

• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

• Excellent sales, negotiation, and student handling abilities.

• Good knowledge of UK universities, CAS process, and visa documentation.

• Ability to work under pressure and achieve organizational targets.

• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/reporting systems will be an advantage.
