OVERVIEW
Our client is a globally operating apparel manufacturing organization catering to reputed international fashion brands across European and American markets. Known for its strong product innovation and quality-driven manufacturing capabilities, the company is currently seeking an experienced design professional to lead woven ladieswear development and strengthen its fashion design function
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research international fashion trends and market movements within ladieswear categories
- Develop creative concepts, seasonal collections, and detailed design sketches
- Collaborate closely with buyers and merchandising teams to understand product expectations
- Drive collection development aligned with customer requirements and market demand
- Work closely with fabric and product teams to ensure design feasibility and commercial viability
- Contribute innovative ideas for woven product development across multiple styles and categories
- Maintain strong coordination throughout the design and sampling process
PRE-REQUISITES
- Full-time experience in apparel design, specifically within woven ladieswear
- Exposure to non-denim woven product categories
- Sound knowledge of woven fabrics, garment construction, and fabric suitability for various styles
- Previous experience working with reputed apparel manufacturers catering to European and American buyers
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or a related discipline
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
