Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and industry-experienced SOC Analyst / Blue Team professional to deliver hands-on training focused on real-world Security Operations Center (SOC) responsibilities. The instructor will train students to become job-ready for entry-level SOC roles.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver structured training on SOC operations, SIEM tools, and incident response
- Conduct hands-on labs using tools like Wazuh, Splunk, Wireshark
- Train students on log analysis, alert triage, and threat detection
- Simulate real-world SOC scenarios and incident handling workflows
- Guide students in capstone projects and SOC simulations
- Support students with career guidance and interview preparation
- 2+ years of experience in SOC / Blue Team / Security Operations
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, Wazuh, ELK, etc.)
- Strong understanding of:
- Log analysis & monitoring
- Incident response lifecycle
- Network & endpoint security basics
- Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, VirusTotal, EDR solutions
- Good communication and teaching ability
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, BTL1, or similar
- Experience mentoring or training students
- Exposure to real SOC environments (L1/L2 operations)
- Practical, real-world teaching approach (not theory-heavy)
- Ability to simplify complex security concepts
- Passion for mentoring and building job-ready talent
