Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Assist in audits and coordinate with internal and external auditors.
- Monitor cash flow and support financial planning and decision-making.
- Implement and maintain accounting systems and procedures.
- Travel outside the valley to set up accounting systems, processes, and controls at project or investment sites.
- Train and support field staff on basic accounting systems and reporting procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/ACCA pursuing or completed preferred).
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Good understanding of taxation and compliance in Nepal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel outside the valley as required.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in investment, finance, or the startup ecosystem is an advantage.
- Experience in system setup or ERP implementation is a plus.
