Job Description
Oversee and manage the storage, organization and distribution of laboratory materials and supplies.
Maintain accurate stock records and ensure timely replenishment of consumables and equipment.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the availability of necessary resources for ongoing operations.
Plan and execute the transportation of lab supplies, equipment and specimens, ensuring timely deliveries.
Liaise with vendors, suppliers and transporters to arrange for smooth and efficient deliveries and pickups.
Ensure all shipments meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
Monitor and manage the transportation fleet to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Track deliveries and provide updates to relevant departments.
Handle shipping documentation, including invoices, shipping receipts, and customs paperwork (if required).
Collaborate with the procurement team to manage the supply chain effectively, reducing costs and improving efficiency.
Identify areas for process improvement within logistics to enhance operational workflows and reduce delays.
Prepare regular reports on logistics operations, inventory levels, and transportation activities.
Ensure proper documentation for all logistics-related activities, including purchase orders, delivery schedules, and incident reports.

Ensure that logistics operations comply with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
Support the quality control team in managing lab equipment and supplies, ensuring they meet required standards for testing and research.
Work closely with other departments (e.g., Procurement, Research, Quality Control) to align logistics operations with overall business objectives.
