Job Description
  • Conduct regular field visits to meet existing and prospective customers, verify product/service needs, and capture sales opportunities.
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycles for B2B & B2C accounts, from lead identification and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and closing.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through structured follow-ups, timely responses, and accurate order/support coordination.
  • Perform market research & analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, pricing signals, and customer buying patterns.
  • Support sales planning by preparing weekly/monthly sales reports, territory updates, and performance forecasts for leadership.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, logistics, and customer service) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and issue resolution.
  • Ensure brand visibility in the market through customer-facing branding activities, product presentations, and promotional support.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in sales within a distributor, FMCG, consumer products, or similar trade environment.
  • Field Visit — able to plan routes/territories, cover assigned outlets/clients consistently, and convert on-ground insights into sales actions.
  • Client Communication — experienced in formal account discussions, handling objections, and maintaining clear communication with decision-makers.
  • B2B & B2C Sales — proven ability to sell to both business customers and end consumers/outlets, managing different buying behaviors.
  • Sales Negotiation & Closing — skilled in negotiating terms, resolving commercial objections, and closing orders/agreements.
  • Market Research & Analysis — able to collect market intelligence, compare competitors, and use data to recommend sales strategies.
  • Branding and Communication — comfortable representing brand standards, supporting product/offer communication, and conducting customer presentations.
  • Sales Target Management — able to track KPIs (leads, conversions, revenue, and outlet coverage) and deliver against targets.
  • Trade/Distributor Operations Knowledge — familiarity with order processes, credit/collection basics, and distributor channel dynamics.
