Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an iOS Developer located in Kathmandu. The iOS Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining iOS applications, actively contributing to the creation and enhancement of mobile solutions. Daily tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, debugging and optimizing application performance, ensuring compliance with best practices, and actively participating in Agile development processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a native iOS SDK based on an existing third-party SDK.
• Design and implement a custom wrapper layer to abstract and hide underlying dependencies.
• Integrate proprietary configurations, including secure key management and internal parameters.
• Perform end-to-end testing to ensure the SDK functions flawlessly across various environments and use cases.
• Identify and resolve integration issues, performance bottlenecks, and edge cases.
• Collaborate closely with Android developers to ensure cross-platform consistency.
• Work with product and client teams to address SDK-related requirements and feedback.
• Maintain clear documentation for SDK usage, integration, and troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in iOS development (Swift / Objective-C).
• Proven expertise in SDK development and third-party SDK integration.
• Solid understanding of mobile architecture, modularization, and abstraction layers.
• Experience with API integration, dependency management (CocoaPods / Swift Package Manager).
• Strong debugging, testing, and performance optimization skills.
• Familiarity with end-to-end testing methodologies for mobile SDKs.
• Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on cross-platform SDK strategies (iOS + Android).
• Understanding of security best practices, especially around API keys and SDK protection.
• Prior experience in building white-label or wrapper SDKs.
• Exposure to location-based or navigation-related SDKs is a plus.
