Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Matchmaking Specialist based in Kathmandu, with the flexibility for some remote work. The Matchmaking Specialist will assist clients in finding suitable matches by understanding their needs and preferences, analyzing profiles, and facilitating introductions. Daily tasks include communicating with clients, offering personalized relationship guidance, and maintaining an accurate database. Additional responsibilities include fostering client trust, ensuring adherence to privacy standards, and following up with clients through the matchmaking process.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to understand client needs and offer relationship advice
- Professional experience in client service, relationship management, or counseling
- Organizational and database management skills to ensure accurate profile tracking
- Problem-solving and mediation skills to provide tailored matchmaking solutions
- Familiarity with matrimonial services or cultural customs related to matchmaking is a plus
- Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms to manage client interactions effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Communications, or a related field preferred
- Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and discretion in handling confidential client information
