About TU Lions Blood Bank

T.U. Lions Blood Transfusion and Research Center, a collaboration between Lions International MD 325 Nepal and Tribhuvan University, is Nepal’s only Grade "A" blood bank. With over 3,000 founding members, the Center is committed to integrity, respect, excellence, and customer satisfaction. Specializing in blood collection, component separation, and distribution, the organization plays a vital role in strengthening Nepal’s healthcare system by meeting critical blood transfusion needs. The Center also serves as a hub for research and innovation in transfusion medicine.

Volunteer Video Editor Opportunity


Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and creative Volunteer Video Editor to support our humanitarian mission. This is an on-site opportunity based in Kathmandu. The Volunteer Video Editor will be responsible for producing and editing high-quality video content that promotes the Center’s services, values, and life-saving impact.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Organizing and editing raw video footage
  • Creating compelling storytelling content
  • Incorporating motion graphics and visual effects
  • Performing color grading and video enhancement
  • Designing graphics and presentation materials for public awareness campaigns

  • Qualifications

    • Proficiency in video production and video editing software
    • Experience in video color grading and motion graphics
    • Strong graphic design and visual storytelling skills
    • Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
    • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar software
    • Familiarity with blood donation, healthcare, or social impact content is an advantage
    • Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Multimedia, Communications, or a related field is preferred


    Volunteer Recognition

    As a non-profit, non-commercial humanitarian organization, we are looking for volunteers who are willing to contribute their skills to create videos and presentation materials that help promote blood donation and our blood bank services.


    Upon successful completion of the assigned tasks, volunteers will be awarded an official Certificate of Appreciation from the T.U. Lions Blood Transfusion and Research Center in recognition of their valuable contribution to this life-saving mission.
