Job Description

Job Title: Sales Manager

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales organization, developing and executing the sales strategy, and driving revenue growth across all products, services, and markets.


Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement the organization-wide sales strategy aligned with business objectives and company growth targets.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Set annual and quarterly sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for all sales teams and branches.

2. Revenue & Performance Management

  • Drive achievement of revenue, margin, and market share targets.
  • Monitor and optimize the sales pipeline, ensuring robust forecasting and timely execution.
  • Implement KPI driven sales performance evaluation systems.

3. Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team, including regional managers.
  • Develop and implement training programs, incentive structures, and career growth plans for sales personnel.
  • Promote a performance-driven, customer-focused culture across all levels of the sales organization.

4. Key Account & Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with top clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee major negotiations, contract management, and pricing strategies to maximize long-term value.

5. Process & Systems Discipline

  • Implement and maintain sales processes, tools, and CRM systems to improve efficiency and transparency.
  • Ensure data-driven decision-making through accurate reporting, dashboards, and performance analytics.
  • Maintain consistency of practices across branches to ensure brand and service standards are upheld.

6. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR teams to align strategies and objectives.
  • Coordinate with Branch Heads to ensure execution consistency and adherence to company policies.

7. Reporting & Governance

  • Provide regular sales performance reports and insights to senior management.
  • Support the Executive Team in strategic decision-making with market intelligence and performance analysis.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably in multi-branch operations
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies, leading large teams, and managing key accounts
