Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Educational Counselor role based in Kathmandu, Nepal. The Educational Counselor will work closely with students and their families to assess academic backgrounds, career objectives, and study preferences, providing professional guidance on suitable courses, institutions, and study destinations.

Responsibilities include conducting individual counseling sessions, assisting with applications and documentation, supporting admission and visa processes, and maintaining accurate student records. The role also involves staying up to date with international education systems, admission requirements, scholarships, and visa regulations. The Educational Counselor will collaborate with internal teams, participate in education events, and contribute to student outreach and engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

* Strong knowledge of Educational Consulting and international education systems.

* Proven experience in Student Counseling, Academic Advising, or Career Counseling.

* TITI Certification (Training Institute for Technical Instruction) is mandatory.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Management, Business, or a related field.

* Ability to build trust and rapport with students, parents, and institutional partners.

* Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.

* Ability to manage multiple student cases and application deadlines efficiently.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online communication platforms.

* Understanding of student visa procedures and admission processes is highly desirable.

* Previous experience in an educational consultancy or student recruitment environment is preferred.
