Job Description

Sprout Education Consultancy is looking for a motivated and experienced Academic Counselor to support students aspiring to study in Canada. The role involves guiding students through the complete admission and visa process while ensuring ethical, accurate, and student-centered counseling. Knowledge of the Australian education system will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Provide complete end-to-end counseling for students planning to study in Canada
Guide students in selecting appropriate courses, universities, and career pathways
Explain admission requirements, eligibility criteria, and application procedures
Assist in preparing and submitting applications and required documents
Support students throughout the visa application process, including interview preparation
Maintain regular communication with students and parents
Participate in education fairs, seminars, and promotional events
Maintain accurate and updated student records in internal systems
Ensure compliance with ethical counseling standards and company policies

Requirements

Prior experience in study abroad counseling (Canada preferred)
Strong understanding of Canadian education system, admissions, and visa processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong counseling, persuasion, and student-handling abilities
Good organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in spoken and written English
