Plan and manage the transportation of vehicles (EV & ICE), spare parts, and accessories from OEMs, ports, warehouses, and PDI yards to dealerships and customers.
Coordinate import logistics, customs clearance, and documentation with freight forwarders, customs agents, and government authorities.
Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely delivery while minimizing logistics costs.
Manage warehouse and yard operations, including vehicle storage, stock movement, and dispatch planning.
Ensure proper inventory control and maintain accurate logistics records in the ERP/HRIS system.
Coordinate with Sales, Service, Procurement, Finance, and PDI teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Develop and monitor logistics KPIs such as delivery lead time, transportation cost, inventory accuracy, and vehicle turnaround time.
Negotiate and manage contracts with transporters, logistics vendors, and warehouse service providers.
Ensure compliance with company policies, customs regulations, transportation laws, and safety standards.
Monitor logistics budgets and identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
Prepare MIS reports on logistics performance, inventory movement, and transportation efficiency.
Lead, mentor, and evaluate logistics team members while promoting continuous process improvement.
Support business expansion by planning logistics requirements for new branches, dealerships, and vehicle launches.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master's degree (MBA) is preferred.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in logistics or supply chain, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role, preferably in the automobile industry.
Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, customs regulations, transportation management, warehouse operations, and inventory control.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent leadership, analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
