Job Description
We are seeking a Delivery Rider for our distributor operations to deliver goods safely and on time while representing the company professionally. This role is ideal for freshers who can manage routes, handle customers at delivery points, and maintain reliable daily delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities
Pick up dispatched products from the warehouse and verify items against delivery documents.
Plan daily routes to meet delivery deadlines and avoid delays using map-based navigation.
Deliver goods to customers in assigned areas while ensuring packages remain secure and undamaged.
Collect proof of delivery (signatures, stamps, or mobile confirmation) and submit complete records to the dispatch team.
Handle customer interactions at delivery locations, including clarifying delivery instructions and resolving minor delivery issues.
Maintain safe riding practices, follow traffic rules, and perform basic vehicle checks before and during routes.
Coordinate with dispatch/supervisors for any route changes, missed deliveries, or customer feedback.
Job Specification
Communication — able to clearly confirm delivery details, respond to customer queries, and report delivery status accurately.
Driving — safe and responsible riding skills with adherence to traffic rules and company safety guidelines.
Customer Handling — able to greet customers professionally, manage delivery confirmations, and handle minor delivery-related concerns calmly.
Effective Time Management — capable of completing deliveries within assigned time windows and prioritizing urgent drops when required.
Route Planning — able to structure deliveries efficiently using schedules, distance, and delivery priority.
Map Reading — confident using maps and navigation apps to identify directions, landmarks, and optimal routes.
Completion of basic education (10+2 or equivalent) is preferred; freshers are welcome with basic riding competence.
Valid two-wheeler license (and the ability to provide it during onboarding) as this role requires regular local deliveries.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with common delivery locations within Kathmandu Valley or your assigned coverage area.
Experience assisting in warehouse pickup or basic logistics documentation (even as internship or project work).
Basic knowledge of vehicle routine checks (lights, brakes, tyre condition, fuel/oil readiness).
What We Offer
Structured onboarding and on-the-job training for delivery processes and safety practices.
Support from dispatch and logistics teams for route planning and daily coordination.
Stable work schedule aligned with delivery routes and operational needs.
Opportunity to build a career in logistics and last-mile distribution with performance-based progression.
