We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented International Logistics Officer (Freight Forwarding Specialist) to join our operations team.


Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate international air, sea, and land freight shipments from origin to destination.
- Liaise with overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, transport providers, and customs brokers to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Prepare, review, and verify shipping documents, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading (B/L), Air Waybills (AWB), Certificates of Origin, and other trade documentation.
- Track shipments, provide timely status updates to clients, and proactively resolve logistics issues or delays.
- Coordinate customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with Nepal Customs regulations and international trade requirements.
- Obtain freight quotations, negotiate rates with carriers and overseas partners, and prepare competitive quotations for clients.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and update logistics management systems.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, overseas partners, and service providers.
- Resolve customer inquiries and shipment-related issues professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, international shipping regulations, and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree/Master's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, international logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, Incoterms®, freight documentation, and customs clearance processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and logistics management software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and work effectively under deadlines.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Nepali.
