Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Manager to lead the planning, design, execution, and monitoring of civil engineering projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing project teams, ensuring quality and safety compliance, controlling budgets and schedules, and coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects from concept to completion.
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery within budget.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.
- Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Provide technical guidance to engineering teams and site personnel.
- Evaluate design changes and recommend engineering solutions.
- Manage and mentor engineers, supervisors, and project staff.
- Conduct performance reviews and support professional development.
- Foster a collaborative and safety-focused work environment.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and government agencies.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular progress reports.
- Resolve technical and contractual issues effectively.
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance and quality control procedures.
- Monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct site inspections and audits as required.
- Review project estimates and budgets.
- Monitor project costs and recommend corrective actions when needed.
- Support procurement activities including vendor evaluation and contract administration.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management (preferred).
- 8–9 years of relevant experience in construction, infrastructure, industrial, commercial, or real estate projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction methodologies.
- Project planning and scheduling expertise.
