Job Description
The Head of Marketing Technology is responsible for building, managing, and optimizing the entire marketing technology ecosystem of the company. This role ensures seamless integration between marketing, sales, CRM, data systems, automation tools, and analytics platforms to drive measurable revenue growth, lead efficiency, and customer lifecycle optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Technology Ownership
- Own the full MarTech stack architecture, implementation, and scalability
- Evaluate, select, and implement marketing technology platforms
- Ensure all tools are integrated and functioning cohesively across teams
2. Full Stack Development & System Integration
- Oversee development and integration of internal marketing systems
- Work closely with developers to build APIs, automation flows, and custom tools
- Ensure smooth integration between website, CRM, ads platforms, and analytics systems
3. CRM Ownership & Automation
- Own CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM)
- Design and optimize CRM workflows, pipelines, and lifecycle stages
- Implement marketing and sales automation for lead nurturing, scoring, and conversion
- Ensure CRM data accuracy, hygiene, and standardization
4. Data, Analytics & Reporting
- Build centralized dashboards for marketing and sales performance
- Ensure real-time visibility of KPIs across campaigns and funnels
- Improve data accuracy for lead tracking, attribution, and ROI measurement
- Enable performance tracking across all acquisition channels
5. Attribution & Lead Tracking
- Implement multi-touch attribution models
- Ensure full-funnel tracking from lead source to conversion
- Improve accuracy of campaign-level ROI tracking and reporting
- Reduce data leakage across marketing channels
6. Cybersecurity & Compliance (Marketing Systems)
- Ensure security of marketing systems, CRM, and customer data
- Implement access control, data governance, and compliance practices
- Work with IT/security teams to ensure safe platform usage
7. Platform Implementation & Optimization
- Deploy and optimize MarTech tools (email automation, SMS, ad tracking, analytics, CDP tools)
- Continuously evaluate new technologies for efficiency and performance gains
- Ensure high adoption rate across marketing and sales teams
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- CRM adoption rate across teams (>90%)
- Lead tracking accuracy and attribution completeness
- Reduction in lead leakage (% improvement)
- Marketing ROI visibility (full funnel attribution coverage)
- Dashboard usage by leadership and teams
- Campaign performance tracking accuracy
- Automation efficiency (reduction in manual processes)
- System uptime and integration stability
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–10 years experience in Marketing Technology / MarTech / Growth Systems/ Digital Marketing
- Strong experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho or similar)
- Understanding of full-stack development or close collaboration with engineering teams
- Experience in marketing automation, APIs, and system integration
- Strong knowledge of data analytics and BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau)
- Understanding of attribution models and funnel analytics
- Experience with digital marketing channels (SEO, Paid Ads, Email, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and systems thinking ability
