Responsible for overseeing the hotel’s learning and quality control functions, ensuring the effective delivery of training programs, coordinating with the corporate training department, managing the training budget, and conducting regular quality audits to ensure compliance with brand standards while preparing relevant management reports.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:

  • Drive Training Excellence - Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive training programmes across all resort departments, from new employee orientation to management development and service skills.
  • Champion Guest Experience - Monitor Guest Love/Heartbeat scores, conduct service standard audits, and develop innovative ways to motivate team members to consistently deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  • Lead People Development - Coach and support managers on performance, onboarding, and IHG's Winning Culture, while driving employee engagement through recognition programmes and team-building initiatives.
  • Manage Training Budget & Compliance - Own the L&D budget, oversee industrial trainees and IHG Academy participants, and ensure timely completion of e-learning and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Build Community & Brand Reputation - Collaborate with educational institutions, liaise with fellow IHG Training Managers, and champion IHG's Corporate Responsibility initiatives within the local community.

What We need from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma Management. A Post- Graduation in Human Resources Management/training is desirable.
  • 5 years’ relevant experience or similar supervisory role or, an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • Must speak fluent English
  • Other languages may be preferred.
