Role Description

Dream Hire Nepal is seeking a full-time Australian Mortgage Credit Analyst for an on-site role based in Kathmandu. The analyst will evaluate loan applications, assess financial data, and ensure the creditworthiness of borrowers. Responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, communicating insights with stakeholders, and adhering to lending policies and guidelines. The role requires precision, critical thinking, and a strong understanding of credit management processes.


Qualifications

  • Analyse income documents including payslips, tax returns, BAS, and financial statements to accurately assess servicing for PAYG, self-employed, and company/trust applicants.
  • Prepare end-to-end credit assessments including servicing calculations, income verification, funding position analysis, liability assessment, and structured credit proposals.
  • Conduct lender scenario analysis by comparing client profiles against lender policies, borrowing capacity, credit appetite, and product suitability to determine the most appropriate lending solution.
  • Review and validate living expenses against HEM benchmarks, transactional conduct, and supporting bank statements to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Assess broker notes, supporting documents, and client objectives to build effective lending strategies aligned with both client goals and lender requirements.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and application data by cross-checking information against supporting documentation and ensuring file integrity throughout the process.
  • Perform detailed financial position analysis including review of assets, liabilities, existing debts, repayment conduct, and cash flow position.
  • Prepare and organize submission-ready files by ensuring all compliance documents, supporting evidence, and lender requirements are accurately completed and properly structured.
  • Draft clear and professional correspondence to brokers, clients, and lenders regarding loan strategy, outstanding requirements, approval conditions, and settlement progression.
  • Identify policy exceptions and recommend mitigating strategies or alternative lender solutions to strengthen application quality and improve approval outcomes.
