Education: Bachelor's Degree

Experience: 3-5 years

Working Setup: Hybrid (Onsite- Once a Week)

Role overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to provide end-to-end reporting and presentation support. This role is focused purely on reporting: designing, building, maintaining, and distributing Power BI dashboards, Excel reports, and high-impact PowerPoint presentations that inform program decision-making. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Power BI, advanced Excel, and PowerPoint, comfortable translating business needs into clear visualizations, and experienced in partnering with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and insight adoption.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and deliver timely Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Build advanced Excel-based reports, templates, and data extracts for ad-hoc and recurring reporting needs.
  • Create and update executive-quality PowerPoint presentations that synthesize report findings into clear recommendations and narratives.
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into reporting specifications, wireframes, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure data accuracy by validating inputs, reconciling discrepancies, and documenting data lineage/assumptions.
  • Implement and maintain report distribution schedules (email subscriptions, shared workspaces, embedded reports).
  • Configure Power BI data models and measures (DAX) to support business KPIs and drill-through analysis.
  • Produce standardized report templates and style guides to ensure consistency across the program.
  • Provide training and user support for report consumers (how to use dashboards, filters, exports).
  • Work closely with data engineering or IT teams to request datasets, clarify data definitions, and escalate data issues.
  • Continuously improve reporting cadence and efficiency (automation of refreshes, templates, documentation).

Required skills & qualifications

  • 3-5 years of professional experience focused on reporting and dash-boarding with Power BI and Excel.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and publishing/sharing best practices.
  • Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, complex formulas, and data cleanup techniques.
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills: slide design, storytelling, chart creation, and ability to summarize complex analysis into concise slides.
  • Solid knowledge of DAX for measures, calculated columns, and basic data modeling concepts.
  • Comfortable working with structured data sources (CSV, Excel, SQL extracts); ability to validate and reconcile data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; able to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple reporting deliverables and meet deadlines.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience supporting a cross-functional program or team.
  • Familiarity with data governance and documentation (data dictionaries, assumptions).
  • Basic SQL querying skills for dataset validation or ad-hoc extracts.
  • Experience with Power BI performance optimization and report design for interactivity.
  • Certification: Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Experience in the healthcare/pharma industry or regulated environments (advantageous).
