Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in healthcare data to lead requirements definition and drive solution delivery across complex initiatives. In this client-facing role, you will partner with product owners and stakeholders to develop detailed business requirements (BRDs) and translate them into well-defined epics and user stories. You will act as a key bridge between business and technical teams by providing functional clarity, defining acceptance criteria, and ensuring delivered solutions align with business objectives.

Job Description:

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in requirements definition, stakeholder collaboration, and solution delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead requirement elicitation, documentation, and validation with product owners and stakeholders, including creation of detailed BRDs
• Break down business requirements into epics, user stories, and clearly defined acceptance criteria
• Guide development teams by providing in-depth clarification on functional and business requirements
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements to ensure alignment across technical and non-technical teams
• Define UAT approach, acceptance criteria, and high-level test scenarios; support validation to ensure solutions meet business expectations
• Analyze healthcare datasets (medical, eligibility, pharmacy, etc.) to support product development and business decision-making
• Collaborate with SCRUM teams to manage backlogs, prioritize work, and ensure timely delivery
• Work with technical teams to support data integration and interoperability using standards such as HL7 and FHIR
• Contribute to reporting and analytics initiatives, including dashboards and data insights

Job Specification:

Required Skills and Expertis

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience: 5+ years of experience, including at least 2 years in a Senior Business Analyst or lead role, with significant exposure to healthcare software development and data-driven projects
• Data Analysis: Ability to write and analyze complex SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and validation of structured dataset
• Requirements Gathering: Proven experience in eliciting, documenting, and managing business requirements, including preparation of BRDs, epics, and user stories
• Agile & SCRUM: Hands-on experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments, including backlog management and sprint planning
• Process Improvement: Demonstrated experience in workflow analysis, process modeling, and process optimization
• US Health Care domain: Knowledge of US Healthcare data and experience working with Claims, EMR Records, etc and Experience with EHR/EMR systems and interoperability standards (e.g. HL7, FHIR, X12) is preferred
• Client-Facing Skills: Proven ability to work directly with stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams in a client-facing environment
• Tools & Documentation: Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platform
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly
• Technical Understanding: Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and data management best practices.
