Job Description
TechYatra Labs is a fast-growing EdTech company focused on delivering AI-driven education solutions, digital learning systems, and institutional technology programs across Nepal. We collaborate with schools, municipalities, and organizations to create impactful and scalable educational initiatives.
Position Summary
We are seeking dynamic and field-oriented Business Development Officers (BDOs) to expand our institutional partnerships across the Kathmandu Valley. This role involves extensive fieldwork, relationship building, and coordination with schools, institutions, and local stakeholders.
This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy networking, communication, and field-based engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with schools, institutions, and partner organizations
- Identify and generate new business and partnership opportunities
- Conduct regular field visits across municipalities and institutions
- Arrange meetings, follow-ups, and manage partnership onboarding
- Communicate effectively via phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and in-person meetings
- Prepare daily and weekly activity and performance reports
- Support company programs, training sessions, and operational activities
- Represent the company professionally during meetings and field engagements
Job Specification
Mandatory Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (completed)
- Own motorcycle/scooter with a valid driving license
- Willingness to travel frequently for fieldwork
- Strong communication skills in Nepali
- Must own a smartphone for communication and reporting
- Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in business development, field sales, marketing, or partnership roles
- Experience working with schools, institutions, or B2B clients
- Basic English communication skills
- Background in EdTech, education sector, NGOs, or government-related projects is an advantage
