Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to support daily logistics and inventory operations. The role involves handling external errands such as banking and document collection, assisting in material movement, and ensuring timely delivery of parcels. Additionally, the candidate will help maintain accurate inventory records, organize storage areas, and support stock management activities. The ideal candidate should be trustworthy, physically fit, and well-organized, with basic numerical skills.
Key Responsibilities
Runner / Logistics Duties
- Perform essential external errands, including banking transactions, depositing/collecting export/ Import documents, and minor purchases.
- Assist in the local transportation of materials between the storage area and the production sections.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of small parcels or documents as directed by the management.
- General office support as needed.
Inventory Management Duties
- Maintain accurate inventory records of raw materials (cashmere yarn, dyes, etc.) and finished goods.
- Organize and manage the storage area, ensuring all items are easily accessible, clearly labelled, and stored correctly.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies to the management.
- Assist in the receiving, inspection, and issuance of materials to the production floor.
Job Specification
- Minimum Education: Completion of +2 Level (Intermediate) or equivalent.
- Experience: Not strictly required; 1 year of relevant experience in inventory management or logistics is a plus.
- Skills: Must be reliable, trustworthy, well-organized, and possess basic numeracy skills.
- Personal Qualities: Must be physically fit to handle the running/logistics duties.
