Architect

Position Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architect with 1–2 years of professional experience in architectural design, drafting, and interior design. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of Kathmandu Valley building byelaws, excellent visualization skills, and hands-on experience in residential and housing development projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing architectural drawings, concept development, 3D visualization, and coordinating project requirements from design to execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural plans, layouts, elevations, sections, and detailed working drawings.

• Develop concept designs and space planning solutions for residential and housing projects.

• Prepare 3D models, realistic renderings, and presentation materials for client approvals.

• Ensure all designs comply with Kathmandu Valley municipal regulations and building byelaws.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, and project teams during project development.

• Assist in interior design planning including material selection, finishes, furniture layouts, and décor concepts.

• Conduct site visits and provide design support during project execution.

• Revise and update drawings based on project requirements and feedback.

• Stay updated with modern architectural trends, interior materials, and market practices.

• Maintain project documentation and drawing records systematically.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution.

Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of professional experience in architectural design and drafting.
• Experience in residential and housing development projects preferred.
• Experience in interior design and architectural visualization is an advantage.

Technical Knowledge

• Sound knowledge of Kathmandu Valley building byelaws and municipal approval processes.
• Strong understanding of architectural drafting standards and working drawings.
• Knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and construction detailing.
• Ability to create 3D views and realistic renderings.

Skills Required

• Strong creativity and design sense.
• Excellent software proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, and related tools.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
