Job Description

A leading media house in Nepal is hiring for the following position,

Location: Kathmandu, on-site

The job

Launch 6 niche media pages every month and keep the ones already live performing.

Pages Example :

You manage the content machine that does it: niche research and moodboard submission, staffing, publishing cadence, quality bar, page security, and cost per page.

You build your own team as the network grows, starting with a research lead, a talent coordinator, and page security executive.

What you'll own

  • 6 social media page launches per month against an agreed calendar. A launch playbook detailed enough that your coordinator can run a launch without you by month six.

  • Niche research and moodboards taken to marketing for sign-off before any page goes live; you present the case, marketing approves the direction.

  • Staffing model and ratios — how many editors and researchers serve how many pages, and what each page costs per month.

  • Performance review of every live page on a fixed monthly cycle. Merge or retire pages that miss thresholds and redeploy the people.

  • Run the creator career ladder's 6-month and 12-month progression gates alongside you; you administer scoring and calibration; management sets the reward structure.

  • Hiring, onboarding, and, when needed, removing creators and editors at the volume 6 launches a month demands.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in content, media, or production operations at volume. Evidence of managing 25+ people directly or through leads.

  • Has built a documented process someone else can run. Bring the SOP, tracker, or scorecard to the interview.

  • Reads short-form performance properly: retention curve, hook rate, watch time — not follower count.

  • Hiring and, specifically, firing experience. At this cadence, removing a wrong hire in week six is most of the job.

  • Working in Nepali and English, spoken and written.

  • Comfortable owning a cost-per-output spreadsheet.

Preferred

  • Advertising or brand background for niche positioning and moodboard work.

  • Experience with talent contracts, exclusivity, or incentive structures.
