About the Role

We are looking for a Creative Associate to join our Marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing, creating content, exploring new ideas, and working across different areas of marketing.

As a Creative Associate, you will contribute to Gham Power’s brand and communication through content creation, social media, digital marketing, video production, website updates, event coordination, and marketing campaigns. You will also have opportunities to work on marketing for Super Krishak, our digital agriculture initiative.

Key Responsibilities

Content & Copywriting

• Write engaging content for blogs, project stories, website pages, newsletters, social media, and other communication materials.
• Develop project summaries and case studies that effectively communicate Gham Power’s impact and solutions.
• Research and identify relevant grant opportunities and support the preparation and submission of grant proposals.
• Assist in preparing grant progress reports and other communications based on grantor requirements and feedback.
• Draft press releases, news articles, and media communications.

Social Media & Digital Marketing

• Research industry trends, relevant topics, audience interests, and emerging content formats.
• Assist in developing weekly and monthly social media content calendars.
• Develop creative concepts and design content for social media platforms, including posts, reels, videos, and stories.
• Write engaging and platform-appropriate captions and copy.
• Coordinate with designers, videographers, and other team members to develop marketing content.
• Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
• Support digital marketing campaigns and lead-generation activities.
• Assist with basic video editing and content production.

Website & Marketing Assets

• Assist with regular website content updates and maintenance.
• Develop and update the content and design of marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, company profiles, project profiles, and sales materials.
• Help ensure that marketing materials are consistent with Gham Power’s brand guidelines.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for marketing assets and creative requirements.

Super Krishak

• Support content creation and marketing activities for Super Krishak, Gham Power’s digital agriculture platform.
• Assist with social media campaigns, user engagement initiatives, promotional activities, and other communication requirements.
• Explore creative ideas to increase awareness and engagement among farmers and other target audiences.

Events & Marketing Activities

• Support the planning and execution of events, campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities.
• Coordinate event logistics, promotional materials, booth setup, and other marketing requirements with the help of the marketing team.
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution of marketing activities.

Qualifications & Skills

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Candidates currently pursuing their bachelor’s degree are also encouraged to apply.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Nepali.
• Strong writing, storytelling, and copywriting skills.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and explore new tools, trends, and ideas.
• Comfortable appearing in front of the camera when required.

Working Conditions

This is an office-based position at our Maharajgunj, Kathmandu office. The role involves independent work as well as regular collaboration with the Marketing team and coordination with other departments, external partners, vendors, and stakeholders.

Probation & Performance Review

The position includes a 6-month probation period, with continuation and performance-based appraisal after a year of work.
