Role Description
- The Counselor is a full-time, on-site at Branch level role based in Bāgmatī, Nepal.
- The Counselor will guide prospective students through the entire study-abroad process, including initial consultation, identifying suitable programs and institutions explaining admission requirements and timelines.
- Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, reviewing academic profiles, advising on test requirements and documentation, and supporting students with application forms and scholarship opportunities.
Qualifications & other requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- prior experience in educational consultancy or student counseling is an advantage
- Strong counseling and advisory skills, with the ability to understand student goals and recommend appropriate Australia, UK, European, and other international study options.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including clear spoken and written English and the ability to present information confidently to individuals and groups.
- Organizational and administrative abilities, such as maintaining accurate records, managing application timelines, and handling documentation efficiently.
- Knowledge of international education systems, admission processes, visa requirements, and scholarship opportunities for the UK, Europe, and other destinations.
- Customer service mindset, with a focus on ethical guidance, patience, and responsiveness when dealing with students and families.
- Proficiency with common office software and digital tools used for student management, communication, and reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and partners, and to adapt to changes in international education policies and procedures.
