Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Korean Language Instructor role based in Kathmandu. The instructor will deliver structured Korean language lessons to students of varying proficiency levels, using engaging teaching methods and appropriate educational materials. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting classroom sessions, assigning and assessing homework, and monitoring learner progress. The role involves providing academic support, maintaining accurate student records, and collaborating with colleagues to improve curriculum and teaching strategies. The instructor will also participate in orientation programs, language workshops, and other institutional activities that support student development and international study goals.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Language Teaching and Teaching, with the ability to instruct Korean to diverse learner groups.
- Fluency in Korean (spoken and written) and good command of English for instruction and communication.
- Prior classroom teaching or tutoring experience in Korean language, ideally in an academic or training institute setting.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills, with a student-centered approach.
- Ability to work on-site in Kathmandu and collaborate effectively within a multicultural team.
