Role Description The Video Editing Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kathmandu. The intern will assist with editing video content for social media, advertising campaigns, and other digital platforms, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and marketing objectives. Daily tasks include organizing footage, assembling rough cuts, adding transitions, syncing audio, and integrating simple motion graphics and text overlays. The role also involves collaborating with designers and marketers, supporting basic color correction, and optimizing video formats for various platforms. The intern will be encouraged to contribute creative ideas, stay updated on video trends, and maintain organized project files.
Qualifications
- Basic familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop) is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and willingness to learn in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Kathmandu and manage multiple tasks with deadlines.
- Relevant coursework or personal projects in media, film, design, or related fields are a plus.
