On-site, Panauti · 4–6 hours/week · one semester (option to renew)
About
Asha Ko Kiran is a nonprofit in Panauti, Nepal. We run a residential program for blind and low-vision children. We are looking for a college student or recent graduate to help run our social media including filming and photographing on site.
What you’ll do
- Spend time at the program in Panauti taking photos and short videos of daily life
- Create and schedule posts, reels, and captions for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
- Keep a simple content calendar
- Reply to comments and messages
Where you need to be
This role is on-site in Panauti. You should live nearby, or already have a practical way to get here regularly.
Who you are
- College student or recent graduate
- Already creating social content (campus, personal, or freelance)
- Fluent in Nepali and English, spoken and written
- Good with children, and comfortable working on site with students and staff
- Able to work independently and be proactive, with drafts reviewed before they are published
- Familiar with Canva, CapCut, or similar tools
Nice to have
- Experience shooting Reels, TikToks, or YouTube Shorts
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite
- Familiarity with Google Workspace
- Prior volunteer or campus-media work
- Own transport to Panauti
- Comfortable drafting emails or simple newsletters
