Job Description
  • Plan, supervise, and monitor daily PDI operations for all incoming EVs.
  • Ensure all vehicles undergo PDI according to manufacturer guidelines and standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct final quality inspections before vehicle handover.
  • Coordinate with Logistics for vehicle receipt, storage, and movement within the PDI yard.
  • Manage PDI technicians and allocate work based on delivery priorities.
  • Ensure battery State of Charge (SOC), charging, and EV systems are inspected before delivery.
  • Verify software updates, diagnostic scans, and calibration of EV systems.
  • Identify defects or quality issues and coordinate with the technical team for rectification.
  • Maintain accurate PDI records, inspection reports, and vehicle history.
  • Coordinate with the Sales team to ensure timely vehicle readiness for customer delivery.
  • Ensure accessories, registration documents, and delivery kits are complete before handover.
  • Monitor productivity, turnaround time, and daily PDI targets.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the PDI yard and workstations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, including high-voltage EV safety procedures.
  • Train and guide PDI technicians on manufacturer standards and new EV technologies.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly PDI performance reports.

Job Qualification (JQ)

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in automobile service/PDI, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Hands-on experience with Electric Vehicle systems and high-voltage safety.
  • Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, software updates, and PDI processes.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and team management skills.
