Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Pokhara for a Naturalist. The Naturalist will lead educational nature tours, conduct wildlife research, and develop environmental education programs for guests. Duties include creating engaging experiences to connect visitors with the local flora and fauna, managing eco-focused projects, and contributing to the resort’s sustainability goals. The role also requires collaboration with the resort team to ensure alignment with environmental and conservation standards.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of wildlife and ecosystems, with the ability to identify local flora and fauna
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with diverse audiences
- Experience in environmental education and delivering nature-related programs
- Flexibility to work in outdoor settings and adapt to varying weather conditions
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, or a related field is preferred
