Role Description

This role is responsible for leading and executing the company’s social media strategy to enhance brand presence, audience engagement, and business growth. The candidate will plan, create, and manage content across multiple platforms, oversee campaign calendars, analyze performance metrics, and optimize strategies for better reach and ROI. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage and mentor a team of content creators, handle audience interactions and brand reputation, and drive both organic and paid social media initiatives in alignment with overall marketing objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with overall marketing, brand, and business objectives.
  • Lead the planning, creation, and publishing of high-quality, engaging content across all social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok), ensuring consistency in brand voice, tone, and visual identity.
  • Oversee content calendars and campaign roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery of posts, campaigns, and initiatives across multiple channels.
  • Analyze social media performance using analytics tools, extract actionable insights, and continuously optimize strategies to improve engagement, reach, conversions, and ROI.
  • Manage and mentor a team of social media specialists, content creators, and designers, providing guidance, feedback, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, SEO, content, design, and product teams to ensure cohesive messaging and integrated campaign execution.
  • Drive audience growth and community engagement through proactive interaction, trend participation, and innovative campaign ideas.
  • Monitor brand sentiment, respond to comments/messages, and manage online reputation, including handling crisis communication when necessary.
  • Identify and leverage emerging social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to keep the brand competitive and relevant.
  • Plan and manage paid social media campaigns, including budget allocation, audience targeting, A/B testing, and performance tracking.
  • Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks, delivering regular performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure all social media content adheres to legal, compliance, and brand guidelines.


Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2–3 years of professional experience in social media management and also worked in a leadership or senior role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies that drive measurable business results.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, audience behavior, and content trends across multiple channels.
  • Advanced knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar platforms).
  • Experience managing paid social campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, and performance optimization.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and engaging content.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring and developing team members.
  • Ability to think strategically while also executing tactically in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in crisis management and online reputation handling.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret metrics and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with content creation tools, basic design principles, and collaboration with creative teams.
