Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new business clients across logistics, e-commerce, manufacturing, trading, and other relevant industries.
- Generate qualified leads through market research, networking, referrals, and business development activities.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and business retention.
- Understand client requirements and present tailored logistics and transportation solutions.
- Prepare proposals, conduct sales presentations, negotiate commercial terms, and successfully close business deals.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets while maintaining a healthy sales pipeline. Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales records, client information, and activity reports using CRM or internal reporting systems.
- Represent the company professionally at client meetings, networking events, and business exhibitions when required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or client relationship management.
- Prior experience in the logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, courier, or supply chain industry will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to achieve sales targets and generate new business opportunities.
- Good understanding of B2B sales processes and customer relationship management. Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with CRM software is preferred. Valid two-wheeler driving license and willingness to travel for client meetings will be an advantage.
