Job Summary:
The Area Sales Officer (ASO) is responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding dealer network, and ensuring strong market presence of 2-wheeler products in the assigned territory. The role focuses on dealer management, primary & secondary sales growth, and execution of sales and promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for 2-wheelers.
- Develop and expand dealer/sub-dealer network in the assigned area.
- Manage existing dealers to ensure stock availability, retail growth, and timely ordering.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor sales performance and competitor activities.
- Support dealer-level promotional activities, test rides, and local marketing campaigns.
- Ensure strong product visibility and brand presence in the territory.
- Coordinate with service and after-sales teams for customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of sales experience (automotive/2-wheeler industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of local market and dealer network operations.
- Good communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
