Role Description

AIP Education is seeking an experienced Sr. Counselor for Australia, to join our team on a full-time basis at our Kathmandu office. The Sr. Counselor will guide students in identifying and selecting appropriate educational institutions and programs in Australia. Responsibilities include evaluating student profiles, providing advice on career opportunities, preparing applications, assisting with visa processes, conducting educational seminars, and maintaining strong relationships with educational institutions. The role also involves staying informed about the latest developments in the Australian education sector.

Qualifications

Proficiency in counseling students regarding university and program selection, career planning, and academic pathways.
Strong knowledge of visa processes and application procedures related to studying in Australia.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish trust with students and their families.
Experience working in the education sector with knowledge of Australian universities and their qualifications.
Proven organizational skills with an ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Minimum bachelor's degree ; Master's degree is an advantage.
Relevant certifications or training in education counseling or skills development are a plus.
Strong problem-solving abilities and an empathetic approach to understanding student needs.
