Position Overview 

We are seeking an AI-native product professional who is deeply immersed in the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem and capable of translating emerging capabilities into scalable, production-grade systems. 

In this role, you will operate at the intersection of frontier AI innovation and real-world insurance workflows. Your mandate is to identify opportunities, define solutions, and deliver systems that drive measurable business outcomes.  You anticipate change, act with urgency, and consistently turn ambiguity into execution. 

Initial Focus Areas 

You’ll help define how Renegade operates as an AI-first platform, with agentic systems embedded into core workflows. Early priorities include: 

• Shipping an initial agentic workflow that automates or accelerates a core business process.
• Establishing a standardized framework for testing and evaluating LLM and agent performance.
• Auditing the product ecosystem to identify high-ROI opportunities where agentic systems can reduce operational friction.
• Building trust with engineering through technically sound, commercially grounded specification.

Key Responsibilities 

AI Strategy & Innovation 

• Own and continuously evolve the AI product roadmap, aligning emerging technologies with business priorities.
• Monitor advancements across models, frameworks, and APIs, and translate relevant developments into actionable initiatives.
• Distinguish meaningful innovation from noise, focusing on high-impact opportunities. 

Product Definition & Delivery 

• Translate ambiguous ideas into clearly scoped, executable product features.
• Design and deploy agentic workflows and multi-step AI systems in production environments.
• Partner closely with engineering to ensure solutions are scalable, efficient, and production-ready.  

Cross-Functional Leadership 

• Align stakeholders across engineering, design, and leadership through clarity and execution.
• Drive alignment through data, outcomes, and speed—not hierarchy.
• Establish strong feedback loops between product performance and business impact  

Business Impact & Measurement 

• Define and track success metrics tied directly to commercial outcomes (e.g., conversion rates, processing time, cost efficiency).
• Evaluate and optimize AI systems based on ROI, reliability, and adoption.
• Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks through intelligent automation  

Qualifications & Experience 

Technical & Product Expertise 

• Proven experience building and deploying production-grade AI workflows for real users.
• Deep, hands-on familiarity with large language models and AI systems.
• Strong understanding of trade-offs across model providers, architectures, and deployment strategies.
• Demonstrated success shipping products in fast-paced, high-growth environments  

Preferred Technical Exposure 

• Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar.
• Familiarity with evaluation and observability tools (e.g., LangSmith, Braintrust).
• Working knowledge of Python, TypeScript, or similar languages.
• Experience with vector databases and retrieval systems.
• Exposure to insurance, fintech, or other regulated domains is a plus.
