About Role
As the Mathematics Curriculum Developer, you will design, develop, and oversee mathematics curriculum content and learning experiences across K–12. You’ll integrate technology-based learning using simulators, AI tools, and gamified lesson design.
Key Responsibilities:
A) Curriculum Development
- Design and develop K–12 Mathematics curriculum aligned with US Standards
- Create interactive, inquiry-based lesson plans integrating real-world problem-solving.
- Ensure a conceptual progression across grade levels with a balance between theory, visualization, and practice.
B.) Simulator Integration
- Utilize and embed tools like Polypad, Desmos, and GeoGebra to create engaging digital experiences.
- Develop or co-create custom simulators using AI tools (Claude, Lovable, ChatGPT, etc.) to visualize mathematical concepts dynamically.
C.) Gamification & Engagement
- Design gamified lesson plans, challenges, and quests to make learning math enjoyable.
- Collaborate with design and product teams to integrate rewards, badges, and progress mechanics into the LMS.
- Ensure alignment in pedagogy, tone, and quality across all math learning materials.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or Curriculum Design (advanced degree preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in developing K–12 international mathematics curriculum (Cambridge, IB, Common Core, etc.).
- Proficiency with Polypad, Desmos, and GeoGebra.
- Hands-on experience in creating or integrating AI-generated simulators or digital learning tools (Claude, Lovable, etc.).
- Proven experience in gamifying curriculum or designing interactive learning modules.
- Strong understanding of learning psychology and concept-based pedagogy for K–12 learners.
