Job Description

SRIYOG Consulting is currently inviting applications for the position of a Full-Time Accountant on behalf of its partner company—an established automotive parts trading business located in Kuleshwor, Kathmandu, Nepal.

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented professional who can effectively manage financial operations and contribute to the company’s overall financial health. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in accounting, along with practical knowledge of accounting software, preferably Swastik.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu. The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with Nepalese financial and tax regulations, and supporting strategic financial decision-making.

• Record, review, and manage daily financial transactions with accuracy and consistency
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure organized accounting records
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment follow-ups
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
• Ensure full compliance with tax regulations, VAT requirements, and financial laws in Nepal
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits
• Monitor cash flow and provide insights to improve financial efficiency
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in trading or similar industries
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping, financial accounting principles, and balance sheet preparation
• Practical experience in taxation, auditing processes, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software (experience with Swastik Accounting Software is highly preferred)
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in financial data handling
• Good organizational and time management abilities
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent will be considered an added advantage
