Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Rider / Delivery Assistant to ensure the safe and timely delivery of medicines and healthcare products to customers. The candidate will be responsible for verifying bills, packages, and delivery locations before dispatch, handling products carefully during transportation, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation, including customer signatures and payment collections.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver medicines and healthcare products safely and on time.
- Verify bills, packages, and delivery locations before dispatch.
- Collect cash, cheques, or payment receipts when required.
- Obtain customer signatures/stamps on delivery bills.
- Handle medicine boxes carefully to prevent damage or shortages.
- Return signed bills, pending bills, and collected payments properly to the office.
Daily Tasks
- Follow delivery routes and instructions from billing staff.
- Coordinate with office staff regarding urgent or pending deliveries.
- Maintain proper communication with customers during delivery.
- Report delivery issues, shortages, or complaints immediately.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
Job Specification
- Valid scooter/motorcycle driving license.
- Good knowledge of Kathmandu Valley routes and locations.
- Ability to use mobile navigation and communication apps.
- Good customer handling and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure during busy hours.
- Honest, disciplined, and responsible attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous delivery experience preferred.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or medical distribution is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of medicine handling and invoice checking preferred.
Salary & Benefits
- Attendance incentive of NPR 1,000 for full attendance.
- Weekly holiday: Saturday.
- Tiffin allowance of Rs. 3000 will be provided.
- Bike/ scooter provided by the company.
Security Fund Policy
- NPR 500 deducted monthly from employee salary.
- Company contributes an additional NPR 500 monthly.
- Employee becomes eligible after completing 1 year of service.
- Requires 3 months’ prior notice before resignation after 1 year.
- Example: Employee deposit of NPR 6,000 yearly becomes NPR 12,000 with company contribution.
- Failure to meet conditions results in forfeiture of both employee and company contributions.
