The Field Documentation Officer is responsible for visiting merchant locations to collect, verify, and ensure proper submission of required business documents in compliance with regulatory (CDD) requirements. The role also involves educating merchants on the importance documents and supporting QR merchant service onboarding.
Qualification and Experience
Minimum +2 (Higher Secondary / Intermediate) completed
Job Description
Visit assigned merchant locations regularly to collect required business documents in person.
Verify authenticity, completeness, and validity of submitted documents; identify and flag any discrepancies or suspicious cases.
Ensure all documentation complies with Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and regulatory standards.
Maintain proper records and ensure timely and accurate submission of collected documents.
Follow up with merchants through phone calls or visits to collect pending documents and resolve documentation gaps.
Educate merchants on the importance of proper documentation and its role in business security and compliance.
Provide guidance to merchants on QR merchant services, including onboarding and activation processes.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing and issue resolution.
Required Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic understanding of documentation and compliance processes (CDD knowledge preferred)
Ability to identify discrepancies and attention to detail
Good organizational and time management skills
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, data entry, reporting)
Customer handling and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in field environments
Must own a two-wheeler (motorbike/scooter) with a valid driving license
