Established in 2012 AD in Butwal, National Path Lab (NPL) is a publicly owned standalone clinical laboratory. NPL is a state of art ISO 15189:2012 certified, NABL accredited, category 'A' laboratory.
We rapidly expanded our operations all across the Nepal.
With an aim to make our country independent in laboratory test and minimize outsourcing to other nations, we have established central reference laboratory in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu operating smoothly since 2021 AD. We are the first in the country providing state of art Molecular Pathology Services (PCR and NGS) , Cytogenetics (FISH and Karyotyping) and Newborn Screening under one roof.
