Role Description The Junior Video Editor will support the creation of digital video content for marketing, training, and promotional purposes. This full-time, on-site role in Kathmandu includes responsibilities such as assembling raw footage, editing clips into engaging narratives, adding basic effects and transitions, and preparing videos for multiple platforms. The role involves closely following creative briefs, collaborating with senior editors, designers, and marketing staff, and maintaining consistent brand standards across video projects. Day-to-day tasks also include organizing media assets, exporting and optimizing files, assisting with simple motion graphics, and updating content based on feedback and performance insights.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess foundational skills in Video Production and Video Editing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and quality.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for creating simple animations and visual elements.
- Basic proficiency in common editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to follow creative direction are essential.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment are required.
