Joining Roadhouse means contributing to a hospitality brand that seeks to enrich lives and strengthen communities through shared experiences.Role Description The Special Event Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu, responsible for planning and executing a variety of events that showcase the Roadhouse experience. This role involves coordinating event logistics, managing timelines, and working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless delivery. Daily tasks include designing event concepts, preparing proposals, handling reservations, and overseeing venue setup and breakdown. The Specialist will interact with guests and clients to understand their needs, provide exceptional service, and promote Roadhouse offerings. The role also includes monitoring event budgets, supporting marketing activities around special events, and gathering feedback to improve future experiences.
Qualifications
- Strong Event Planning and Event Management skills to design, organize, and oversee diverse hospitality events.
- Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to engage guests, address inquiries, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Sales and relationship-building skills to promote event packages, upsell services, and maintain long-term client connections.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Prior experience in hospitality, events, or related fields is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic office and scheduling software; familiarity with social media or event promotion tools is an advantage.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business, or a related discipline is beneficial.
