Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and creative Chef to lead the resort kitchen and deliver high-quality dining experiences for guests. The ideal candidate should have expertise in menu planning, food preparation, kitchen operations, and team management while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and supervise the preparation of high-quality food for guests.
  • Design seasonal menus and introduce new dishes based on guest preferences.
  • Ensure consistency in food taste, presentation, and quality.
  • Manage daily kitchen operations and supervise kitchen staff.
  • Monitor food inventory, order supplies, and minimize food wastage.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety procedures.
  • Coordinate with the Resort Manager and restaurant team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Handle guest feedback related to food quality and implement improvements.
Job Specification
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Chef in a hotel, resort, or restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of Nepali, Indian, Chinese, and Continental cuisines.
  • Excellent leadership and kitchen management skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
