Gardener (Taudaha)

We are looking for a hardworking, responsible, and nature-oriented Gardener to maintain the gardens, landscaping, plants, and green spaces of Vedic Life Yoga Resort and Retreat. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of gardening, plant care, irrigation, and general garden maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, gardens, plants, trees, flowers, and landscaped areas throughout the resort.
• Perform regular watering, pruning, trimming, weeding, and planting activities.
• Monitor plant health and identify signs of pests, diseases, or other issues.
• Maintain proper irrigation and watering schedules.
• Prepare soil, plant seeds, and transplant plants as required.
• Apply fertilizers and other garden-care products appropriately.
• Keep garden areas clean, attractive, and well-maintained.
• Maintain gardening tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Assist with landscaping and seasonal plantation activities.
• Remove weeds, dry leaves, and other unwanted materials from garden areas.
• Support the maintenance of outdoor areas, pathways, lawns, and green spaces.
• Follow appropriate safety procedures while handling gardening tools and materials.
• Report any major plant, irrigation, or landscaping issues to the concerned supervisor.

• Basic knowledge of gardening, landscaping, plant care, irrigation, and general garden maintenance.
• Prior experience in gardening or landscaping will be an advantage.
• Basic understanding of different plants, flowers, trees, and their care.
• Ability to operate basic gardening tools and equipment.
• Physically fit and capable of performing outdoor work.
• Hardworking, reliable, and responsible attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in different weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel, resort, retreat, landscaping company, nursery, or similar environment.
• Knowledge of organic gardening and sustainable landscaping practices.
• Experience with irrigation systems and lawn maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of pest and plant disease management.
