Job Description
We are looking for a friendly, skilled, and customer-focused Barista / Bartender / Waiter / Waitress to provide professional food and beverage service to guests at Vedic Life Yoga Resort and Retreat. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling beverage preparation, guest service, and day-to-day F&B operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve coffee, tea, juices, mocktails, and other beverages according to established standards.
Prepare and serve alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages as applicable to the resort’s service requirements.
Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional, and attentive service.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen/bar.
Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, beverage station, and dining area.
Handle guest inquiries and provide information about menu items and beverages.
Ensure proper presentation and quality of food and beverages.
Maintain appropriate stock levels of beverages, bar supplies, and service items.
Follow hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally.
Coordinate with the kitchen and F&B team to ensure smooth service.
Assist with opening and closing procedures of the service area.
Job Specification
BHM / Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a hotel, resort, restaurant, café, or hospitality environment.
Knowledge of beverage preparation and F&B service.
Good communication and customer-handling skills.
Professional and presentable personality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work flexible shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to female candidates with a valid two-wheeler driving license.
Previous experience as a barista, bartender, waiter/waitress, or in a multi-functional F&B role.
Knowledge of coffee preparation and modern beverage trends.
Experience in a resort, hotel, or wellness property.
