Role Description The F&B Service Trainee will support day-to-day operations in the hotel’s restaurants, bars, and banquet venues, ensuring a high standard of guest service at all times. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, presenting menus, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and responding to guest requests in a professional, courteous manner. The trainee will assist in table setup and clearing, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and coordinating with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate service. The role also involves learning and adhering to hotel service procedures, safety guidelines, and brand standards, while contributing to a positive team environment. This is a full-time, on-site role based at The Soaltee Hotels and Resorts in Budhanilkantha.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, including table settings, menu presentation, and serving techniques.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously with guests and colleagues.
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in F&B areas.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and adapt to hotel service procedures and schedules.
- Minimum high school or equivalent education; hospitality or F&B-related coursework or training is an advantage.
- Previous internship or practical exposure in hotels, restaurants, or cafés is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.
