Role Description

The Robotics Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu. This role involves delivering robotics-focused classes and workshops, guiding students through hands-on projects, and demonstrating the safe operation of robotic systems and related equipment. The trainer will prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and demonstrations that align with STEM Sikshya’s curriculum and “learning by doing” approach. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up and maintaining robotics labs, monitoring equipment performance, performing basic troubleshooting, and coordinating with school staff to schedule sessions and assess student progress. The Robotics Trainer will also support continuous improvement of teaching content and share feedback on student engagement and learning outcomes.


Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Robotics and arduino kits operation, including practical experience with educational or industrial robotic systems.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and continuous operation of robotics equipment.
  • Candidates should possess skills in applied robotics processes, with the ability to demonstrate and explain concepts clearly.
  • Strong instructional and classroom management skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to school-age learners in an accessible way.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with educators, administrators, and students.
  • Comfort with basic coding concepts and an interest in AI and emerging educational technologies is highly beneficial.
